Suzanne Hudson is the author of the novels In the Dark of the Moon, and In a Temple of Trees, which was inspired partly by her memories of the Annie Jean Barnes tragedy. Her short story collection, Opposable Thumbs, was a finalist for a John Gardner Fiction Book Award. She lives outside of Fairhope, Alabama, on the Waterhole Branch Arts Commune.
